Bio of Reverend Donald Macklin, Sr.
Reverend Macklin was born in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly affection (Philadelphia Pennsylvania). He is the youngest child of Deacon John and Lou Macklin. Rev. Macklin is married to his best friend and love of his life (Celeste) and they have four beautiful children, SheKeeya, Celenia, Donaya and Donald, Jr. and a precious grand-daughter (Kayden). Rev. Macklin has a degree in Biblical Studies from Eastern Theological Seminary in Wyncote, PA. Rev. Macklin was licensed to preach at the age of 17 yrs. old and was ordained at the age of 19 yrs. old by Bishop Frank Curtis Cummings in the A.M.E. Church, while he was attending Wilberforce University, majoring in Accounting/Marketing. Rev. Macklin is an associate Minister at Redeeminglove Missionary Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC where the Rev. Dr. T.K. Ashley, Sr., is Pastor. Rev. Macklin is one of the Youth Minister’s at Redeeminglove. Rev. Macklin’s favorite scripture is Psalms 34….
